Greetings from Creative Metal Fest HeadquartersM

Thank you to anyone and everyone who has been involved with Creative Metal Fest. Occasionally, difficult decisions need to be made in order to ensure the ultimate success of the Station Art Centre’s mandate –“to promote arts in the community”.

Creative Metal Fest has tried their best to increase income through grants and other sources and to keep costs to a minimum. However, due to financial restraints, and more importantly, a lack of metal art, car and bike show convenors, the decision was made with great regret to cancel this years event and the future remains uncertain.

At this time, we would like to thank the many thousands of patrons who have supported our Festival for the past three years. You are the reason why we enjoy organizing and bringing you such outstanding artistic vision. We also owe a large debt of thanks to the hundreds of volunteers who have been so faithful, enthusiastic and dedicated to making our festival work. Without them, we truly could not have put on an event of this magnitude.

This decision to cancel was made after careful examination and our desire to provide the attending public with a first rate festival. We have been extremely encouraged and appreciative of the support the festival has received from our many corporate sponsors, partnering organizations and artists.

We hope you understand and appreciate our decision to cancel Creative Metal Fest.
